      <image:caption>Nick here. Behind every struggle is a story that deserves to be heard. In our work together, we’ll explore what lies beneath the surface and move toward something better. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist based in Peterborough, where I live with my fiancé, our son, and two dogs—a doodle and a French bulldog. For more than six years, I’ve supported individuals through challenges such as relationship breakdowns, addiction, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. My experience spans both virtual and inpatient settings, giving me the perspective to meet people at different stages of their healing process. I draw on evidence-based approaches including Mindfulness and Self-Compassion, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Each session is tailored to your needs rather than a single method. One thing I’ve learned is that pain—whether rooted in trauma, loss, or addiction—rarely exists in isolation. It’s often connected to deeper, unspoken struggles. My role is to help you explore those layers with care and clarity. I also work with family members and loved ones who are impacted by someone else’s addiction or mental health journey. This work continues to inspire me. The trust clients place in me is something I value deeply, and I’m committed to supporting real, lasting change. When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me on the golf course, watching football, or learning the ropes of new fatherhood.</image:caption>
